We worked with Mailchimp to help both create a whole new platform of content featuring original documentaries, shorts, television series, features and podcasts. While the content was made with the entrepreneur/small business owner in mind, it appealed to anyone who could identify with themes like imposter syndrome, growing up without losing who you are…you know, all that good human stuff.
Our team spent over a year pitching, refining, and curating content, with each project requiring a different level of involvement and skillset. We schemed with writers and directors of hit shows like Jason Wolliner (Last Man on Earth, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), as well as fledgling makers with 10K followers. We sat in WME's office for days straight with lots of men in really expensive suits. We had the most painfully awkward conversation with Todd Selby that I’ve ever had in a group setting. All that said, it was an experience I’ll never forget.
Here’s a link to a bit of press about it.
Addendum: Turns out former partner did a much better job of laying out the full scope of this project (shoutout to design skills), so if you don’t mind clicking right here, you’ll get a much better understanding of it.
