The Truth Has a Voice
"The Truth Has a Voice" highlighted the power good investigative journalism has in actually changing the world. Each spot below highlighted a different issue where the NYT reporting led to real, marked change.
He Said, She Said
“He said, She said” used the cadence of a one-sided conversation suddenly made two-sided by the brilliant reporting of the NYT - particularly in regard to Harvey Weinstein. This ran during the Golden Globes, one of the first award shows since the scandal, so it caught people at exactly the right moment. (It also amassed over 30 million views on youtube in the days following.)
Concussions in the NFL
Another film, which we ran around the time of the Super Bowl, showed that some truths take more courage to tell than others.
Shining a Light on Women’s Rights
And for International Women’s day, we looked no further than the first (known as “Lede”) lines of articles written about women around the globe to prove that equality still has a long way to go.
